Lil Wayne Hints At Release Of “Tha Carter VI”. The “Lollipop”rapper has announced that a 6th instalment will be released as part of “Tha Carter” series.
Lil Wayne hinted in a recent interview with Variety that “Tha Carter VI” will be released soon. He was asked in the interview which of Tha Carter albums was his favourite. He answered saying “My favourite Carter album is the next one”. His answer hints that the new album is in the making and that it is a release that people should expect.
Although the rapper did not share any more detailed info on when the album should be expected. His fanbase is excited from the brief info he shared in the interview.
The most recent release to Tha Carter series is “Tha Carter V”, which was released in 2018. The album was eventually released after it had several delays in terms of its release date. Wayne has also released his 13th studio album titled “Funeral”.
In the rapper’s recent interview, he also spoke about his new Apple Music show called Young Money Radio. The show kicked off during quarantine and has been a major success. The show has hosted guests such as 50 Cent, Naomi Campbell and many others.
