Birdman Reveals He Will No Longer Be Rapping. Young Money rapper Birdman has had a long and filled music career, he has now revealed he will be retiring from his rap career. The rapper will be dropping his last project before he officially stops rapping

Birdman was a guest on Lil Wayne‘s Young Money Radio season finale on Friday the 17th of June. The rapper firstly requested that him and Lil Wayne should record and drop a sequal to their ‘Like Father Like Son” album. Weezy responded willingly and mentioned that him and Birdman work well together ,as he can easily send him 6 songs he can just add his verses on anytime.

The 51 year old rapper responded and said “I’m done rapping.”He further explained “Rapping ain’t for mw no more. I done with that sh*t. I like to make rappers. That’s what I do”. The rapper shared that he wants his Lil Wayne album sequel to be his farewell album, and his last work of him rapping. He said “I just want it to be my little farewell thing. I want to go out how I came in”.

Lil Wayne and Birdman’s first original “Like Father Like Son” album was released in 2006. the album also was atop the Billboard 200 chart at number 3. Birdman has released 10 albums as a solo artist and as part of a duo called Big Tymers with Mannie Fresh. His most recent work was released last year, it was titled “Just Another Gangsta”

Birdman has been in the industry for over 10 years and has been made popular by the work he has been doing with Young Money. Even though he has had up and downs with Lil Wayne the podcast show was able to showcase that they still have a strong relatinship of working well together. Fans are looking foward to their new album as his farewell to rapping.
