Talib Kweli says Hillcrest Card Company is using #Blacklivesmatter For Profit

Talib took to instagram to explain to people that Hillcrest Card Company is not black owned. He also expressed that all they are doing is bragging about making #blacklivesmatter cards which they sold for profit and hhe reminds people that Blacklivesmatter is a non-profit. He also says that the company is in no way associated with #blacklivesmatter and that their behavior is disgusting.

He captioned the instagram post,  “@hillcrestcards is NOT a black owned company. They are bragging about making Black Lives Matter postcards and selling them for profit. They are not in any way associated with @blklivesmatter let them know this is disgusting. Using capitalism to steal from the hard labor of black women and profit off black pain is not an ally would do. BLM is a non profit org.”
