Yesterday, (Wednesday March 17), Soulja Boy took to Twitter to share his thoughts about the situation. “That nigga Drake is hilarious,” he tweeted. “Dude stole my whole bar then thanked Bow Wow.”

Back in 2019, the Soulja Boy hit the news for his infamous interview on The Breakfast Club when he alleged that he taught Drake everything he knows and that the Toronto rapper stole his bars for his 2010 single “Miss Me,” featuring Lil Wayne.

“Draaaaaake? Y’all niggas better stop playing with me man,” he claimed during the interview. “Y’all talking about the lightskin nigga from Degeneres? Stop playing with me. Stop playing me like I ain’t teach Drake everything he know. Y’all ain’t hear Drake on his first song?”

“‘Tell me what’s really going on, Drizzy Drake back in this thing already, what’s hap—,’” he rapped. “That’s Soulja! That’s my bar. He copied my whole fucking flow. He copied my whole fucking flow. Word for word. Bar for bar. Don’t act like I didn’t make Drake, nigga.”

Earlier this week, it was reported that Drake linked with Bow while celebrating his historic Billboard achievement. The Scary Hours 2 emcee became the first artist to debut tracks at Nos. 1, 2 and 3 simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. In a series of Instagram Stories, Drake handed Bow Wow his flowers the for inspiring his career.

“I had to link with Wizzle. Everybody wants to have drinks and everybody wants to celebrate and turn up and, you know, I just had to see Wizzle. I had to see Wizzle in person,” Drake says of Bow. “If it wasn’t for you, there wouldn’t be no me. That’s why — you know the rest — that’s why I’mma rock with y’all forevermore.”
