Missy Elliot Impressed With 21 Savage’s Vocals, Open To Collabo

Missy Elliot Impressed With 21 Savage’s Vocals, Open To Collabo! The eagerly awaited Ashanti vs Keyshia Cole Verzuz battle finally went down on Thursday (Jan. 21). While the showdown elicited mixed reactions from the audience, it was not short of a few memorable moments as is usually the case for such events.   From the two artists showing up an hour late to the disappointing  some fans,  to OT Genasis singing Cole’s 2005 hit “Love.” which was not kindly taken by Cole’s sister, to yet another roasting of Bow Wow  for his tasteless comment during the battle. But one artist was enjoying singing along to all of the classic records that Ashanti and Keyshia had on the table, taking part in the R&B Verzuz. 21 Savage via his Instagram Live sang along to several tracks including Ashanti’s “Foolish” and Cole’s “I Remember.”

21 savage had the best moment after singing along to Missy Elliot’s part on Keyshia Cole’s “Let It Go” single from 2007.

A Twitter user asked for a collaboration between Missy Elliot and Savage after watching HipHopDX’s post of the Atlanta rapper singing along to the record.

“Most def” Missy responded.

The Verzuz battle also came with  hilarious comments as fans reacted on everything including Keyshia Cole’s lateness .

“How you gonna have a song called “Always On Time” and show up 55 minutes late????” a fan tweeted.

Savage has curved himself a niche on social media and an essential part of Hip Hop culture for his funny social media antics, and better still he’s being recognized on much bigger platforms. One of his bars for instance was used by MSNBC news anchor Ari Melber On Tuesday (January 19), to clown former president Donald Trump.

In a clip that went viral, Melber uses a verse from Savage’s 2018 single “a lot” featuring J. Cole.

All said and done, we hope Keyshia will make true her promise for a 21 Savage collabo and gift us a Missy Elliot and 21 Savage track.
