Despite the several sex charge crimes which the rapper has been held for, his fan base is still on his side and are supporting him in many ways. The singers supporters have now took to the streets and have held a march demanding his freedom.

R Kelly fans seem to be in support of the singer regardless of the many major crimes and controversies surrounding him. The singers’ fans took to the streets of Chicago on Friday the 21st of August 2020 and held a march in the name of R Kelly.

The group of fans and supporters had been holding banners and posters which said “Justice For R Kelly” and others which said “R Kelly’s Music Matters”. The group had a leader shouting phrases such as “Free R Kelly” on a megaphone and they had been marching on a sidewalk in Chicago.

The group of supporters had not been a large group, but it had been enough people to get their message across. The march has come as a surprise as many things have taken place such as the public demanding for the “cancelling” of the “Storm Is Over” singer. In some extents many radio stations and DJ have decided to boycott and stop playing his music.

R Kelly is still held in Chicago Metropolitan Correctional Service. His trial is set to be taking place next month on the 28th of September. Since his fans are already demanding for him to be freed. His loyal fans are not believing the fact that he was fairly charged for the number of crimes he is held for. The singer truly has the most loyal fans based on the actions they have taken for him since he has been held.
