Fat Joe and Young Buck Feud Reignites Over Alleged 2000s Altercation

Fat Joe and Young Buck have reignited their long-standing tensions after the Terror Squad leader claimed he once physically confronted the former G-Unit rapper. The revelation came during the latest episode of Joe and Jadakiss’ Joe and Jada podcast, featuring Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda as guests.

On the episode, Fat Joe recounted a previously untold story from the mid-2000s, at the height of his beef with 50 Cent and G-Unit. Joe claimed he caught Young Buck at a Winter Jam concert in Chicago and delivered a series of punches.

“I caught Young Buck during that time. He got two-piece legended. That n*gga tried to front on me,” Joe told Jadakiss, Uncle Murda, and Tony Yayo.

Joe described the incident in detail, saying he was coming off stage with his entourage when he noticed Buck on a second-floor balcony. He threw a water bottle at him, challenging him to come down. According to Joe, when Buck descended the staircase with several associates, a confrontation erupted, with Joe and his crew landing a flurry of punches. “Even the barber hit him!” he joked. Joe added that Buck attempted to downplay the encounter afterward, claiming his initial comments were harmless.

Young Buck, however, disputes Joe’s version. He responded with a diss track titled “CAPpuccino,” rapping over Kanye West’s “Drive Slow” to set the record straight. In the song, Buck claimed no physical altercation occurred despite Joe’s claims and mocked him for using weight loss drugs. “No hands was put on nobody, even though I attempted / I don’t know if it’s just you, Fat Joe, or the Ozempic / But speak facts when you say my name, this ain’t the Rucker Park, I don’t play them type of games,” Buck rapped.

Fat Joe doubled down, commenting on Buck’s Instagram page: “Nah you know it’s facts old shit but [100 emoji] facts sorry beloved.”

This latest exchange highlights how old rap feuds can resurface years later, with both artists maintaining contrasting versions of events. Fans continue to debate the authenticity of Joe’s claim, while Buck’s track adds fuel to the ongoing discussion. The situation underscores the tension that remains between veteran figures from the G-Unit and Terror Squad eras.
