Cardi B Intensifies Ice Spice Feud Amid Apology to Latto

Cardi B has once again proven she will not shy away from conflict in the rap world. Her sophomore album, AM I THE DRAMA?, included disses aimed at JT, BIA, and Lil Uzi Vert, and she has also taken aim at drill rapper Ice Spice. The rivalry escalated recently after the release of her track Magnet, where she responded directly to Ice Spice’s Munch with bars asserting her dominance.
Earlier today, a leaked audio clip of Cardi B went viral, captured by DJ Akademiks. In the clip, the Grammy-winning rapper goes on a heated rant about Ice Spice, promising to confront her in person. “I’ma show y’all! I’ma beat her the fck up! I’ma knock her the f**k out! […] All y’all! I’ma beat her as. I’ma get RIOT beat up by my ns. Y’all gonna see what the fck is up! You think I’m puy as Latto?” she says in the recording.
Cardi’s anger continues when she learns that Ice Spice is in New York. She yells, “She in New York?! Tell her to link up! You think I’m [Nicki Minaj]? I’ll beat you the f*ck up, all y’all!” The clip, whose full context is still unclear, has fueled speculation and tension between the two artists.
Despite the aggressive audio, Cardi B has taken steps to clarify her intentions and address a misunderstanding involving Latto. In a series of tweets, Cardi emphasized that she “fck with Latto HEAVY!!” and respects her and her team. She even pledged to “privately buy her a bag” to make amends for her comments.
Cardi also called out James Rosemond Jr., Ice Spice’s manager, urging him to release the full 11-minute conversation that originally led to the heated audio. She claimed the full recording would provide necessary context, noting that Ice Spice allegedly became upset after Cardi praised Sexyy for a BET Award while Ice Spice had recently won an iHeart award.
The back-and-forth between Cardi B and Ice Spice shows no signs of slowing down. While she has addressed Latto directly and attempted to smooth over that situation, the feud with Ice Spice continues to unfold publicly, drawing attention from fans and the hip-hop community alike. The rivalry appears to be far from over, and more developments are expected as both artists continue to respond.
