Kid Cudi Denies Consequence’s Claims About Kanye West

Kid Cudi has publicly refuted recent allegations made by Consequence regarding his relationship with Kanye West. The controversy arose after Con criticized former Ye collaborators such as Pusha T, Drake, and Kid Cudi, claiming they showed disloyalty to the Chicago rapper. Consequence suggested that Cudi’s Kids See Ghosts project with Kanye allegedly blocked a potential collaboration between Kanye and Drake. He also claimed Cudi influenced Kanye to take pills, go on rants, and spend time in a psychiatric ward.
Cudi addressed the allegations in a video shared on social media. He denied all claims, calling them “pretty f**ing disturbing.” Cudi stated, “Let me be clear: I had nothing to do with Kanye not doing that collab album with Drake. And I damn sure had nothing to do with him being hospitalized and going to a psych ward. This is some crazy s**t to just be saying whatever the f**k you want to say in the moment. You know, trying to be a hater, and you’re spewing lies. That s**t is not a f**ing joke. It’s not funny. I’ve never even been a pill guy in my life.”
Cudi also confirmed that he sent Consequence a cease and desist, which led to a tweet being deleted but not a full retraction. He demanded a formal retracted statement and warned of legal action if it was not issued. “If not, you’ll be hearing from my lawyer, period. I’ma hit you in them pockets. That lil’ bit of change you got gon’ be mine. Keep f**ing with me. S**t is not a game over here,” Cudi said.
On Kanye West’s decision-making, Cudi added, “We all know Kanye gon’ do whatever Kanye do. What I look like going up to him and being like, ‘Yo, I don’t want you to do this album.’ And him being like, ‘Okay?’ Yeah, right. In what universe? There’s no multiverse where that would happen. This is Kanye we talking about. I just wanted to clear the air, man.”
Cudi’s statement comes amid ongoing debates over loyalty and influence within Kanye West’s circle, with fans and peers weighing in on social media. The rapper emphasized that the claims were false and thanked supporters who defended him online.
