Offset Previews New Album Kiari Amid Divorce Reflections

Offset recently released a teaser for his upcoming album Kiari, set to drop on Friday, August 22. The announcement comes amid ongoing public discussions about his divorce from Cardi B, a topic he addressed in a recent interview with the Associated Press.
According to Complex, Offset revealed that the album will close with a song titled “Move On,” which directly reflects on his relationship with Cardi B. The rapper, who shares three children with the Bronx artist, described the track as a message of closure and peace. “It’s about moving on, like, peacefully,” Offset said. “That’s what the message is supposed to be: moving on peacefully. It’s all love, peace. I just ended that up with the album, just to end that chapter of that s**t because it’s like, just move on, it’s over and done with. It was great while it lasted. You know what I mean? That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed.”
This candid reflection follows a previous conversation with Ebro Darden on Apple Music, where Offset admitted mistakes in his marriage. “I f*ed up, just being real,” he said. “I got to acknowledge that and get back on the journey. I’ve accepted the actions I’ve done to cause certain situations to happen. I had to. But at first, I didn’t. I was trying to act tough and like I didn’t give a fk at first. But the actions that I did in the time I was acting that way, I realized I was wrong. I realized I was wrong and had to get out of the way. I’m happy with everything and I want the best.”
Beyond his personal life, Offset’s album may also touch on other relationships, including his dynamic with Quavo. Fans have speculated about the former Migos members’ rift over the years, but both artists have suggested that past tensions are resolved. Kiari may provide more insight into these connections and offer a broader look at Offset’s journey both personally and professionally.
With the album release imminent, listeners can expect Kiari to blend introspection with Offset’s signature style, closing one chapter while signaling the next phase of his career.
