Drake Teases New Album Iceman Amid Heated Rivalry with Pusha T

Drake is keeping fans eagerly anticipating his next project, Iceman, as he continues to tease the album on his ongoing tour. At his latest stop in Birmingham, England, the Canadian superstar told a sold-out crowd, “I’m working on my album ‘Iceman’, we got a lot to talk about,” fueling excitement for what promises to be a significant release in his career.
This forthcoming album will mark Drake’s first solo effort since the highly publicized feud with fellow hip-hop heavyweight Kendrick Lamar began. The rapper recently dropped the lead single, “What Did I Miss,” which reaffirmed his commercial dominance by debuting at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Drake, confident in his chart-topping potential, shared his ambition to seize the top spot soon. “Suppressor on the 1 spot. I’m taking that soon don’t worry one song or another rule changes and all,” he told fans, signaling that he is eyeing continued success with the Iceman project.
However, not everyone is vibing with the new single. Pusha T, Drake’s longtime rival, openly admitted he wasn’t a fan of “What Did I Miss.” When asked about the track, Pusha tersely responded, “No. Just not for me.”
Despite the ongoing rivalry, Pusha T has indicated he’s done with the back-and-forth in public. In a candid GQ interview, he reflected on their feud and his perspective: “I think after everything that had been done, I don’t think there was ever anything subliminal to be said ever again in life. Not only just musically, like bro, I actually was in Canada. I actually had a show and made it home. So, I can’t pay attention to none of that.”
The Clipse rapper also took aim at Drake’s legal battle with Universal Music Group (UMG) over the Kendrick Lamar feud. “I don’t rate him no more. The suing thing is bigger than some rap shit. I just don’t rate you. Damn, it’s like it just kind of cheapens the art of it once we gotta have real questions about suing and litigation. Like, what? For this?”
As Iceman builds momentum, Drake’s camp remains tight-lipped about the full album details beyond the new single and the album’s title. Fans and critics alike are eager to see how the album will address the ongoing drama and showcase Drake’s growth as an artist.
With the Iceman album on the horizon and Pusha T’s recent comments adding fuel to the fire, the rap world is bracing for what could be another explosive chapter in one of hip-hop’s most enduring rivalries.
