Roddy Ricch Delays The Navy Album Yet Again, Now Set for October 2025 Release

Roddy Ricch fans are once again left waiting as the rapper’s highly anticipated The Navy Album has been delayed yet again. Originally slated for release on July 18th, 2025, Apple Music updated the project’s release date on Tuesday to October 24th, 2025 — marking the latest in a series of frustrating pushbacks for the long-awaited album.

This newest delay has stirred disappointment across social media, where fans have been vocal about their growing impatience. “Man, another delay? Fans been waiting forever. If this drops in 2025, the hype better be worth it,” one user posted on X (formerly Twitter). Others lamented the loss of momentum. “Smh either he or his label ruined his career. But we’ll always have the classic mixtape series and his 1st album. Salute,” another fan added. A third pointed out the long timeline: “First single for this album dropped in February of LAST YEAR. Original date was December 2024… now it’s dropping almost a year later?”

The Navy Album was initially expected to arrive on December 6th, 2024, before being pushed to February 21st, and then again to July. With the current target now set for late October, the project will have been in limbo for nearly two years by the time it drops.

Roddy Ricch has not been silent about the album’s direction. During an interview with Apple Music last June, the Compton native described the project as a deeply personal offering. “I feel like I’m just getting back to my roots,” Ricch explained. “Being real lethal with my injection, if I will… being vulnerable as I can to my fans, allowing them into my life. They going to get a real experience, almost like a soundtrack, a movie experience of what my life is like.”

Fans first got a taste of The Navy Album with the release of “Survivor’s Remorse” in May 2024, a song many assumed would lead the rollout. While that single sparked anticipation, the lack of a consistent release schedule since has chipped away at the buzz. Most recently, Roddy released the single “Underdog” as part of the official soundtrack for the F1 racing film, reigniting hopes that the album would finally see the light of day.

Despite mounting delays, Roddy Ricch continues to emphasize the importance of quality over speed. But with expectations sky-high and fans growing restless, The Navy Album will have to deliver on every level when it finally drops on October 24th — assuming no more delays.
