“Cartel Crew” Star Salome’s little sister fatally shot in Miami
Star Salome’s little sister, shot in Miami. The suspect says it was a mistake but the family is not having it and is pushing for charges to be laid. The family is wanting answers for a crime they can’t make sense of.
Her sister, Giselle Rengifo, was shot in the head Monday night at a rented Airbnb.
Rengifo was killed in a shooting in the 2700 block of Southwest 20th Street. Michael McGowan, 17, is facing manslaughter charges after he said the shooting was accidental. Police arrived at the scene at 8:23 p.m. Monday to find Rengifo dead at the scene.
Rengifo’s family, including Salomé, believe it was no accident. Giselle’s mother, Catherine and aunt, Tonia Westman reference social media posts of McGowan showing off with the gun.
Salomé tells a chilling story on her Instagram page about the incident with a photo of her sister, who she calls, GiGi.

On Monday, 17-year-old Giselle was fatally shot at an AirBnb in Miami where she was reportedly hanging out with four friends, including a boy she was dating. While the four teens told police the shooting was an accident, Salome and her family have a strong feeling her friends are not being entirely truthful about what happened, along with receipts to support their suspicions.

The suspected shooter, identified by authorities as 17-year-old Michael McGowan, now faces a charge of manslaughter with a deadly weapon, according to @MiamiHerald. Giselle’s family is strongly pushing for a capital murder charge for the alleged shooter as Miami police continue to investigate the homicide.

“Why would they take my sister away from her family?” Salome tells us. “My mom has to live with this and I have to live with this now…We’re never going to see her again. I can’t call her and I can’t-click the link in our bio to read more.”
