Sauce Walka Survives Targeted Shooting in Memphis

Houston rapper Sauce Walka is lucky to be alive after being targeted in a deadly shooting in Memphis that claimed one life. The incident took place in broad daylight on Saturday (March 22), leaving Walka with a gunshot wound to the leg.
A Tragic Incident
According to FOX 13 Memphis, the shooting occurred outside a hotel near the FedEx Forum when a car pulled up next to Sauce Walka and a companion. Multiple individuals exited the vehicle and opened fire before fleeing the scene. Police have confirmed that the attack appeared to be “targeted.”
Tragically, a friend who was with Sauce Walka at the time was also shot and did not survive his injuries. While authorities have not officially confirmed the victim’s identity, speculation on social media suggests it was Walka’s artist and fellow rapper, Sayso P.
Sauce Walka Speaks Out
Following the shooting, a video surfaced online showing Sauce Walka in good spirits despite his injuries. In the footage, he can be seen wearing a bloodied bandage on his left thigh while posing for a photo with a fan. He reassured those around him, stating:
“I’ma stand up, I ain’t no bitch. My daddy on the phone; that n-gga didn’t raise no ho!”
The rapper also appeared to confirm Sayso P’s passing, saying: “RIP Sayso P, man.”
Investigation Ongoing

This is not Sauce Walka’s first near-death experience. In 2023, he miraculously walked away unscathed after crashing his car following a 130 mph police chase. While he was later charged with evading arrest, he took to social media to advise his fans against reckless behavior, emphasizing the importance of seatbelt use and respectful interactions with law enforcement.
