Boosie Badazz Concert Shooting: Three Injured During Akron, Ohio Performance

Boosie Badazz’s concerts are known for their high energy, but unfortunately, they have also been marred by violence over the years. That history repeated itself on Monday, March 10, when a shooting occurred during his live performance at the Field House Lounge in Akron, Ohio.
Shots Fired During Boosie’s Set
According to Cleveland 19, gunfire erupted at 2 a.m., causing chaos in the venue. The shooting was captured on video and quickly spread across social media, showing the frantic aftermath as fans scrambled for safety.
Police arrived at the scene and found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds: an 18-year-old man and a 36-year-old man, both in critical condition. A third victim, a 25-year-old man, later checked into a hospital with a graze wound, which was less severe. Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims.
No Suspects Identified Yet
Investigators report that the shooting stemmed from a fight that broke out during the concert, though no suspects have been named at this time. Boosie Badazz has not publicly commented on the incident.
A Troubling Pattern of Violence at Boosie’s Shows
This is not the first time gun violence has disrupted a Boosie Badazz concert. In August 2024, two men were shot and killed during his performance in Pacific Junction, Iowa. Both victims were in their 20s and from Nebraska. At the time, Boosie distanced himself from the incident, saying, “I don’t know. Some sh*t happened at the front but we’re going to take it to Crush Ultra Lounge. Party don’t stop.”
Additionally, in 2006, Boosie performed alongside Plies at an event where five people were shot. Rumors suggested a feud between Boosie and Plies had led to the violence, but Boosie dismissed these claims in a recent VladTV interview. “Everybody thought that sht happened with me and Plies, but it didn’t. They held that sht that Boosie and Plies were beefing all the way until I went to prison. I had nothing to do with it.”
What’s Next?
As police continue investigating the Akron shooting, Boosie’s touring schedule remains uncertain. Given the rapper’s history of shows being disrupted by violence, security concerns will likely be a major topic of discussion moving forward.
For now, fans hope for updates on the victims’ recovery and whether authorities will be able to track down those responsible for the latest tragic incident at a Boosie Badazz concert.
