Yo Gotti Signs Dallas-Based Rapper Zillionaire Doe to CMG

Yo Gotti has expanded his CMG (Collective Music Group) roster with the signing of Dallas-based rapper Zillionaire Doe. Gotti made the announcement in a press release, expressing his belief in Doe’s talent and work ethic. He emphasized the rapper’s organic buzz and said that with CMG’s resources and structure, Zillionaire Doe has the potential to elevate his career to new heights.

“I’m really excited to work with Gotti and the CMG family,” Doe shared with Billboard. “I looked up to him growing up, so it’s a full-circle experience. This is a special opportunity, so I’m just ready to work hard, learn from Gotti, put on for my hometown and become the next biggest artist out of Dallas.”

Doe, 23, launched his rap career in 2022 and gained significant traction in 2023 with his viral hit “D Boi Dreams.” The track caught the attention of prominent figures in the music industry, including Future, GloRilla, Rod Wave, and Moneybagg Yo. His growing presence on the scene caught Gotti’s eye, leading to the signing.

Yo Gotti, who has been a successful entrepreneur and artist for over a decade, has built an impressive empire. His CMG label now boasts a roster that includes notable artists such as Moneybagg Yo, GloRilla, and Blac Youngsta. The Memphis-based rapper is also making moves outside of music, holding a minority stake in the MLS team D.C. United and owning a restaurant, Prive, in Memphis.

In a recent interview with Forbes, Gotti spoke about his journey in building a $100 million empire, inspired by the business strategies of Jay-Z. Gotti revealed that he’s been attending classes at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management to deepen his knowledge of business, specifically corporate valuation. This drive for financial literacy has helped Gotti create multiple streams of income outside of music, positioning him for long-term success.

Jay-Z himself has praised Gotti’s business acumen, noting that his ability to break the mold of traditional executives is clear in every move he makes. With this new partnership with Zillionaire Doe, Gotti is further solidifying his commitment to empowering the next generation of hip-hop talent while continuing to expand his empire beyond the music industry.

As Zillionaire Doe joins the CMG family, both Gotti and Doe are looking forward to what this collaboration will bring to the Dallas rap scene and the wider hip-hop landscape. With a blend of talent, hustle, and ambition, the future looks bright for both artists.
