Kendrick Lamar Rumored to Feature on Clipse’s New Album “Let God Sort Em Out”

Fans of Clipse and Kendrick Lamar are abuzz with speculation that the Compton rapper may be featured on the highly anticipated Clipse album Let God Sort Em Out. The rumor surfaced thanks to TikToker Nigel Cooper, who shared a video discussing Pusha T’s 2023 feud with Jim Jones. The video included the unreleased track “Chains & Whips,” which Clipse premiered at a Louis Vuitton fashion show in 2023. In the video, Cooper claimed that TikTok muted the audio after Universal Music Group (UMG) issued a copyright strike. The strike supposedly mentioned that the song features none other than Kendrick Lamar.

While the rumor has yet to be confirmed by either Clipse or Kendrick Lamar, it has certainly caught the attention of fans eager for new collaborations. If true, this would mark Lamar’s first feature with Clipse as a duo. However, Kendrick has previously worked with Pusha T on “Nosetalgia” from Pusha T’s My Name Is My Name album in 2013.

Pusha T has been vocal about the album’s completion, revealing in interviews that the only thing holding up the project was a single feature. Speaking on the Ghetto Runways podcast, Pusha T expressed his excitement for Let God Sort Em Out, saying it was “absolutely finished” except for the waiting feature. He later confirmed that the album was done and eagerly anticipated by fans.

In a conversation with Ari Melber during Miami Art Week, Pusha shared more about the project, highlighting its long journey and the significance of Pharrell’s involvement. Pharrell produced the album from top to bottom, and Pusha T emphasized the meticulous care taken in its creation, noting the strong chemistry between the duo and Pharrell. Pusha also hinted that the album would showcase the maturation of street hip-hop, stating that fans would witness “greatness.”

Let God Sort Em Out will be Clipse’s long-awaited follow-up to their 2009 album Til the Casket Drops. It will also mark the duo’s first album with Def Jam, adding a layer of excitement for both old and new fans.

As the anticipation builds for the album’s release, fans are left to wonder whether Kendrick Lamar will make an appearance on the project. If the rumors hold true, it would be a monumental collaboration that could further elevate Let God Sort Em Out to legendary status.
