Kendrick Lamar and SZA Announce Grand National Tour in Support of GNX

Kendrick Lamar is bringing his latest album GNX to the stage in 2025 with the announcement of his highly anticipated Grand National Tour. The 21-city North American trek will feature special appearances by his longtime collaborator and former TDE labelmate, SZA. The news comes just days after GNX debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, marking Kendrick’s sixth consecutive chart-topping album.

The Grand National Tour will kick off on April 19 in Minneapolis, MN, and will take Lamar and SZA to major cities across the U.S. and Canada. The roadshow will visit venues such as Houston’s NRG Stadium, Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, and Chicago’s Soldier Field, before wrapping up in Landover, MD, on June 18. Additionally, stops will be made in Los Angeles, St. Louis, and even Toronto—home to Kendrick’s longtime rival, Drake.

Fans are particularly excited to see Kendrick and SZA team up again on stage, as their collaboration on GNX has garnered widespread attention, especially with tracks like “Luther” and “Wacced Out Murals.” Presale tickets for the Grand National Tour will begin on December 4, with general sales opening on December 6 through the tour’s official website.

The GNX album itself has been a massive commercial success, racking up 319,000 equivalent units in its first week, making it the best-performing rap album of the year. The album’s sales surpass releases from other big names like Tyler, the Creator, Eminem, and Future & Metro Boomin. It’s also dominated the Billboard Hot 100, with Kendrick occupying seven of the top 10 spots. The track “Squabble Up” is poised to be his third number-one single this year, further cementing his position at the top of the rap game.

As if that weren’t enough, Kendrick has teased that a deluxe edition of GNX is on the way, which has only added to the excitement surrounding the album and tour. With GNX continuing to make waves and Kendrick’s tour on the horizon, the Compton rapper is showing no signs of slowing down as 2025 approaches.
