Shiesty’s prison sentence stemmed from a 2022 guilty plea for conspiring to possess firearms in furtherance of crimes of violence and drug trafficking. He originally faced up to 20 years in federal prison but secured a plea deal and was initially set to be released in April 2026. He was transferred to a halfway house on Monday for early release.
Since leaving prison, Shiesty has already generated headlines online. He went viral for commenting “I love you” on Cardi B’s Instagram post, which featured her rapping along to “Check Please” from her new album Am I The Drama? Cardi and her boyfriend, NFL player Stefon Diggs, are expecting their first child together.
