Offset Backs Cardi B Ahead of Her Comeback Album Despite Past Split

Even though Offset and Cardi B are no longer a couple, he is showing full support for his ex-wife as she prepares for her highly anticipated sophomore album, AM I THE DRAMA?, set to drop on September 19. The project marks the end of an eight-year wait for fans since her debut, Invasion of Privacy.

Some early reactions to the album have been mixed, particularly because it includes older hits like Up and WAP. Critics argue this could be an attempt to boost chart performance during the first week. Offset, however, is not joining in on any negativity. In interviews, he has expressed support and confidence in Cardi B’s work.

In a recent chat with TMZ Hip Hop, Offset spoke on his own album, KIARI, which landed in the top 20 on the charts. When asked whether he considers it an album of the year contender, he affirmed it as his best work. The conversation then turned to Cardi B’s upcoming release.

Offset responded, “For sure… Ws,” signaling his belief in her project’s success. When pressed about potential award competition between them, he stated, “Never, never, nah. I just want all peace, man. I want all of us to win, everybody gotta win.” He added that he plans to support her album because he believes it is strong and expects it to perform well.

These positive remarks come even after Offset appeared to criticize Cardi B’s current partner, Stefon Diggs, following a week one loss against the Las Vegas Raiders. He simply wrote “Trash” on social media, without any accompanying media. Cardi B, in contrast, posted supportive messages for Diggs on her Instagram Story, showing encouragement for her boyfriend.

Offset’s stance demonstrates a focus on professional respect and personal goodwill toward Cardi B, highlighting that despite past differences, he wants her success to be celebrated.
