Wiz Khalifa Says He Smokes 30 Joints a Day and Still Manages Workouts, Parenting, and More

Wiz Khalifa has never been shy about his love for marijuana, but his recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! confirmed just how deeply it’s embedded in his daily life. The “Black & Yellow” rapper casually revealed that he smokes up to 30 joints every single day—an amount that even stunned the late-night host.
When Kimmel asked if it was true he lights up that often, Wiz didn’t flinch. “Yeah, yeah, yup,” he replied. “I have things to do. I work out — I got kids, so I do a lot of different things.” Kimmel, doing the math, pointed out that the number comes out to more than one joint per waking hour. Wiz grinned and responded, “Yeah, that’s not bad at all.”
Far from being a hindrance, Khalifa says weed is just part of his daily rhythm. “Somebody put it a really good way the other day. You smoke and then you just challenge yourself to do normal things throughout the day … I enjoy it,” he added.
Though he’s become a cannabis icon in pop culture, Wiz says it all started in the studio. “It was just for music purposes, like, being in the studio and hanging around other musicians, it was just the thing to do,” he explained. “It kind of became something that, you know, later on in life helped me to get through a lot of things.”
The rapper, real name Cameron Thomaz, also made headlines recently when he revealed a surprising story involving fellow weed legend Snoop Dogg. During an interview with DJ Whoo Kid, Wiz admitted that he was the one who got Snoop’s children high for the first time.
“I did that to Snoop Dogg’s kids. We were shooting High School, the movie, and he was out of the trailer doing his part. And he came back in the trailer and was like, ‘Y’all little motherfuckers is high!’” Wiz laughed, recalling the moment. “I thought they had already smoked, though! I’m like, ‘These are Snoop’s kids, of course they smoke!’ They got high with me first. Crazy.”
The incident occurred during filming of Mac & Devin Go to High School, the 2012 stoner comedy starring both Snoop and Wiz. At the time, Snoop’s sons Cordae and Cordell were teenagers, around 18 and 15 years old.
Wiz Khalifa’s cannabis culture commitment runs so deep, he’s even admitted to attending his son’s parent-teacher conferences while under the influence. For him, it’s just part of who he is—an artist, a father, and a daily smoker who has mastered the art of living high while staying productive.
With marijuana legalization continuing to spread, Khalifa remains one of the most visible faces in the conversation—and by his own admission, he’s lighting up every step of the way.
