50 Cent Expands TV Empire to the UK with Launch of ‘50 Cent Action’ Channel

50 Cent is taking his rapidly growing television empire across the Atlantic. Following the strong early success of his U.S.-based TV channel, the rapper-turned-mogul has officially launched 50 Cent Action in the United Kingdom, marking a significant expansion in his global media footprint.

In the U.S., the channel is available free on platforms like Roku, but UK audiences will access the service through a subscription model priced at £3.99 per month. The move gives British fans exclusive access to a high-octane slate of films and shows personally curated by 50 Cent, including popular titles he’s starred in such as Righteous Kill, The Expendables 4, and 13, along with content from his iconic Power franchise.

Speaking to Deadline about the UK launch, 50 Cent shared why the expansion felt like a natural next step. “You know, everybody loves London. If you’re from New York, or you’re a recording artist from America in general, the first stop and your first dose of international love is London,” he said.

The rapper emphasized how the new UK platform connects him more closely with longtime fans. “My audience, my core audience – the people that were enjoying my music in the very beginning – is at home. They’re older. They’ll understand the entertainment choices that I make creatively. I’ve used music to merge with entertainment,” he explained. “Being able to launch out here [in the UK] is big because I have a huge audience here that hasn’t been able to participate with us. Now they get a chance to see it.”

The channel’s success has come fast. Since launching in the U.S. in December, 50 Cent Action has already ranked in the top 5% of more than 500 Roku channels. “My @50centaction channel ranked in the top 5% out of more than 500 channels on Roku,” he wrote in an April Instagram post. “I got more coming for you today bringing this channel everywhere. Stay tuned!”

Beyond television, 50 Cent is also cementing his name in the sports and entertainment world. He’s currently transforming the Stageworks building in Shreveport, Louisiana, into a state-of-the-art multipurpose venue. Already leasing a large film and TV studio in the city, the rapper secured a 30-year lease—extendable by 15 years—on the property. The deal, approved by the Shreveport City Council, will see him pay just $200 per month in rent through his G-Unit Films & Television company.

Once completed, the venue will be capable of hosting a variety of events including basketball, volleyball, boxing, MMA, concerts, car shows, and conventions—further showcasing 50’s commitment to creating inclusive spaces for culture and entertainment.

From music icon to television powerhouse, 50 Cent continues to prove that his ambitions know no borders. With 50 Cent Action now available in the UK and a booming slate of upcoming projects, his legacy as a global entertainment mogul only grows stronger.
