SZA Takes Fans Behind the Scenes on Kendrick Lamar’s Grand National Tour — Plus a First Look at Her New Beauty Brand

SZA is giving fans an unfiltered look at life on the road as she tours the U.S. alongside Kendrick Lamar on their electrifying Grand National Tour. The Grammy-winning singer has begun sharing vlogs from various stops on the tour, offering an intimate glimpse into backstage rituals, personal challenges, and the launch of her brand-new beauty line, Not Beauty.
The first two vlogs — from Minneapolis, where the tour kicked off, and Houston — are packed with candid moments that highlight the chaos and charm of life on stage. From group prayers with the team to frantic wardrobe changes and even a brief clip of SZA using a bucket bathroom due to time constraints, the videos pull fans into the real, raw moments that come with performing for thousands.
“I’m so GRATEFUL FOR MY LIFE! Ps im finna start vlogging cause y not,” she wrote on social media, hinting that more behind-the-scenes content is coming soon. She also teased that a vlog from their Atlanta stop is up next.
Not Just Music — Introducing Not Beauty
While the music takes center stage, SZA is also using the tour as a launchpad for her new venture: Not Beauty, a lip gloss-focused beauty brand that’s currently available only at the Grand National Tour shows. Each tour stop features a pop-up for fans to try and purchase the first drop — three carefully curated shades of gloss that SZA herself has been quietly showcasing at public appearances, including the Super Bowl halftime show.
“I’m not a beauty maven, but I know lips,” SZA told Vogue. “I know what I like, and I’m diligent about finding the best quality ingredients. I wanted to fill a need with something that works for me and that I use daily.”
The launch of Not Beauty reflects SZA’s ethos of authenticity and intention. “Following your passion and letting it lead you… is literally what my entire life and career has been about,” she explained.
As for the brand’s name, Not, it’s more than just a clever label. “It was representative of a reminder of: Don’t try to be these other brands,” she said. “Don’t just make a random celebrity brand just because you can. My whole life is about being pressure-free but still trying your best, and that’s what Not is about.”
Tour, Music, and Chart Domination
In addition to her vlogging and business ventures, SZA continues to dominate the music charts. Her recent collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, “Luther,” remains a powerful presence on the Billboard Hot 100, proving that this duo’s creative chemistry is stronger than ever.
As the Grand National Tour continues across the country, fans can look forward to more exclusive vlogs, live performances, and limited-time access to SZA’s newest beauty must-haves. Whether on stage or in the studio, SZA is showing the world what it means to move with passion, purpose, and personality.
