Snoop Dogg Blasts Suge Knight in New Track “Shut Yo Bitch Ass Up” Amid Ongoing Feud

Snoop Dogg has reignited his long-standing feud with former Death Row Records boss Suge Knight, taking direct aim at him in a blistering new track titled “Shut Yo Bitch Ass Up.” The song appears on Snoop’s surprise new album Iz It A Crime?, and features some of the most pointed lyrics the West Coast legend has ever directed at his former associate.
Once considered allies during the peak of Death Row’s dominance in the 1990s, Snoop and Suge have spent recent years trading public barbs. Now, Snoop has chosen to take the conflict to wax, delivering a lyrical takedown filled with accusations and taunts aimed squarely at the incarcerated music mogul.
“I can see why you mad / I bought everything you own / Now you in PC snitching on the phone,” Snoop raps, referencing Suge’s current prison status and his own acquisition of Death Row Records in 2022. The track continues with even harsher words: “But I can slap the taste out your muthafuckin’ mouth / Pull up on your n-gga, make you wanna reroute / And if he hit the main line, he gon’ see what we bout / Oh bitch ass n-gga, I’m a rich ass n-gga.”
While Suge Knight has not responded to the track, he recently criticized Snoop during an interview on The Art of Dialogue. In the interview, Knight challenged the legitimacy of Snoop’s ownership of Death Row, saying, “Snoop, you said I’m mad because you bought Death Row? What’d you buy? Show me the paperwork. Show me what you own.” He went on to dismiss Snoop’s previous business ventures, including his Doggystyle label and his tenure at Def Jam, claiming the rapper had failed to make a meaningful impact.
“You going backwards,” Suge added. “You tryna create something that Suge Knight created. But instead of going big, you disappointing the world by making everything flops.”
The animosity between the two continues to reflect the complex legacy of Death Row Records. With Suge behind bars and Snoop now in control of the label, their rivalry has taken a more public and personal turn. By addressing Knight directly in music, Snoop appears to be reclaiming the narrative and challenging the past in his own way. Whether Suge chooses to retaliate remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Snoop Dogg has made his stance known, loud and unapologetically.
