Lil Yachty Responds to Karrahbooo’s Allegations of Label Abuse and Personal Mistreatment

Lil Yachty has broken his silence following accusations made by rapper Karrahbooo, who claimed the Poland artist is mistreating her and preventing her from releasing music. The controversy erupted over the weekend when Karrahbooo took to social media with a lengthy post alleging that Yachty has been holding her career hostage and exhibiting “evil” behavior toward women.

In a fiery Instagram Live session, Yachty defended himself and pushed back against the claims, insisting that Karrahbooo’s lack of output is due to her own inactivity — not interference from his label or management.

“The truth is that you don’t have music, and that’s why you’re not putting out music,” Yachty said. “It’s not that I’m holding you from dropping your music — [if] you have music.”

He emphasized that her success wouldn’t impact him negatively, saying,

“If you put out music, it wouldn’t hurt me. I still want you to do your thing. It doesn’t bother me.”

Personal Attacks Spark Stronger Reactions

Yachty also addressed one of Karrahbooo’s more personal jabs — her comment about his parenting — by pointing out that his child was currently with him overseas.

“There was no reason to bring up my child, who is in Europe right now with me. What are you even talking about?” he said, visibly frustrated.

Later, in a livestream with DJ Akademiks, Yachty was even more blunt in his response, describing Karrahbooo’s behavior as erratic.

“This woman crazy, like bat shit crazy,” he said. “She just said I added more shit to the deal — damn right I added more shit to the deal. You speaking on me every time I wake up, you speaking on me.”

Karrahbooo’s Allegations Go Public

Karrahbooo, who was once affiliated with Yachty’s Concrete Boys collective, originally aired her grievances via social media, accusing the rapper of leveraging his status and wealth to control her. She questioned his character as both a man and a father.

“U have a daughter and u treating women like this is mindblowing,” she wrote. “Like I know u never see her but still that doesn’t make sense how evil this man is to women (not just me).”

In her statement, she also denied being released from her contract, saying that Yachty had falsely claimed to drop her while still keeping her under the label. She challenged Yachty to provide evidence for his past statements, including allegations that she owes him nearly $900,000 — receipts she says have yet to surface.

“He said he dropped me — I’m still signed. He said he would show y’all receipts of me owing 900k — LMAO where they at? We still waiting,” she wrote. “I told him to put it on his kid that he wrote all my songs — he ain’t respond.”

A Rift That Reflects Bigger Industry Issues

The feud between Lil Yachty and Karrahbooo has struck a chord with fans and fellow artists, reigniting conversations around the dynamics of label deals, creative control, and the power imbalance between emerging artists and the industry figures who back them.

While Karrahbooo insists she’s being silenced and manipulated, Yachty maintains that he’s done nothing but support her — and that her stalled career isn’t his fault. With both sides firmly entrenched, it remains to be seen whether this dispute will escalate further or eventually be resolved behind the scenes.
