Clipse Confirm Release Date for First Album in 15 Years, Let God Sort Em Out

After years of speculation and more than a decade of waiting, Clipse—the legendary hip-hop duo made up of brothers Pusha T and No Malice—have reportedly confirmed the release date for their long-awaited comeback album. Titled Let God Sort Em Out, the 13-track project is scheduled to drop on July 11, 2025, marking the group’s first full-length studio release since 2009’s Til The Casket Drops.

The news, which surfaced via OnThinIce on Twitter, quickly ignited excitement across the hip-hop community. For fans who’ve followed every cryptic teaser, studio snippet, and reunion rumor over the past several years, this announcement signals the start of a new era for one of rap’s most respected duos.

While Clipse have remained mostly quiet as a group since their last album, they reunited briefly in 2019 on Kanye West’s “Use This Gospel” from Jesus Is King. Since then, both Pusha T and No Malice have offered occasional glimpses into new material—often with production involvement from longtime collaborator Pharrell Williams.

The wait for new music will be over even sooner than the album release. The project’s lead single, “Ace Trumpets,” drops tomorrow (May 30) and is set to be a milestone moment: the first official Clipse single in 15 years. According to early reports, Pharrell is handling production for the entire album, setting expectations sky-high for a project packed with innovative sound and lyrical precision.

In a recent interview with GQ, Pusha T emphasized that Let God Sort Em Out is not a nostalgia act, but rather a bold new chapter:

“This is new, it’s groundbreaking, it’s fresh. This isn’t a reminisce runway. Everything is new – the music, the energy, the competitive spirit. It’s all about what’s next and being what’s next.”

So far, the few snippets teased online showcase a sound that aligns with the duo’s gritty, thought-provoking legacy while hinting at fresh direction. “Ace Trumpets” is expected to set the tone, and fans are eager to hear how Clipse have evolved—especially with Pharrell back in the producer’s seat.

As for who else might appear on the album, speculation is swirling. Pusha T was recently spotted at a Kendrick Lamar and SZA concert, fueling rumors that Kendrick could be a surprise feature. While nothing has been confirmed, fan theories are flying as the July release draws closer.

Despite the current buzz, some fans are treating the release date with cautious optimism, as official statements from Clipse or their label are still forthcoming. Nevertheless, with “Ace Trumpets” dropping imminently, all signs point toward a genuine Clipse revival in the coming weeks.

Hip-hop heads, mark your calendars: July 11 could be one of the most memorable days in rap this year.
