Travis Scott Hints at WWE Return After Wild WrestleMania 41 Cameo

Travis Scott’s high-octane cameo at WrestleMania 41 may not be a one-off appearance. The rapper shocked fans during the April 20 showdown between Cody Rhodes and John Cena, injecting chaos into the ring and leaving a trail of speculation about his future in the WWE.

Appearing mid-match, La Flame interrupted what seemed like a sure win for Rhodes by yanking the referee out of the ring. Rhodes, refusing to let the interference go unanswered, dared Scott to step into the ring. But his boldness backfired when he delivered his own Cross Rhodes finisher to the rapper—creating the perfect window for John Cena to capitalize and clinch his historic 17th world championship title.

Following the match, Scott took to Instagram to reflect on his involvement, posting dramatic ringside photos with the caption: “I DONT WANT A RECEIPT I WANT BLOOOODDD AFTER JACKBOYS 2 I NEEEEEDDD THAT.” The cryptic message suggests that his WWE journey is far from over, especially with his label’s compilation album, JackBoys 2, on the horizon.

Tensions between Scott and Rhodes have been simmering since February’s Elimination Chamber event, where Travis clocked Rhodes with a stiff punch to the head—resulting in a black eye and a ruptured eardrum. Rhodes later addressed the incident in an interview, stating: “If Travis Scott ever makes his way back into the WWE fray, maybe there’s a receipt for Travis.”

Despite the tension, Rhodes admitted he was once a fan of Scott, even purchasing his sneakers. But in the wrestling world, payback is part of the game.

The Rock, who had a front-row seat to Travis Scott’s first WWE scuffle, praised the rapper’s intensity and passion for the sport. Speaking at a press conference after Elimination Chamber, he revealed: “[Travis] wanted to get his hands bloody… He slapped the shit out of Cody tonight. He was really, really hyped up.”

“He loves the business,” The Rock continued. “Some want to just be in the crowd, but Travis? He wants in. That’s what you saw tonight.”

With his aggressive WWE debut and hints at more action to come, Travis Scott might be setting the stage for a full-blown wrestling storyline. Whether it’s revenge or redemption, fans can expect fireworks when La Flame returns to the ring.
