50 Cent’s Action Channel on Roku is a Hit and He’s Ready for Even Bigger Things

50 Cent is making waves in the entertainment industry once again, this time with his celebrity-branded FAST channel (Free Ad-supported Streaming Television) on Roku, the 50 Cent Action Channel. The channel, which launched in December, has already proven to be a major success, ranking in the top 5% of more than 500 channels on the platform. This marks another significant milestone for the entertainment mogul.

Taking to Instagram on April 2, 50 Cent shared his excitement about the success of his channel. “My @50centaction channel ranked in the top 5% out of more than 500 channels on Roku,” he wrote. “I got more coming for you today, bringing this channel everywhere. Stay tuned!”

The channel features a curated selection of 50 Cent’s favorite films and TV shows from the Lionsgate library, many of which include the rapper and actor himself. Fans of the mogul’s work can enjoy over a dozen films featuring 50 Cent, along with his highly popular STARZ show Power, among other content.

The Channel’s Popularity and Future Expansion

The 50 Cent Action Channel’s rapid rise to success highlights the growing trend of celebrity-driven FAST channels. The platform, which is ad-supported and free to users, has become a popular alternative to subscription-based streaming services. With 50 Cent at the helm, the channel is expected to continue expanding its offerings, bringing even more exclusive content to fans.

In related news, 50 Cent is also preparing to make another bold move in his business empire with the creation of a new sports and entertainment venue in Shreveport, Louisiana. This venture, which adds another layer to his already impressive portfolio, is set to revolutionize the local entertainment scene.

50 Cent was granted approval last month to lease the Stageworks building in Shreveport, with plans to transform it into a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venue. The venue will host basketball, volleyball, boxing, MMA events, as well as concerts, car shows, and conventions. 50 Cent’s G-Unit Films & Television company will take on a 30-year lease, paying just $200 per month for the building, with the possibility of extending the lease for another 15 years. In return, he will be responsible for all maintenance and operational costs.

At the Shreveport City Council meeting, 50 Cent shared his enthusiasm for the project, saying, “I just want to say, in the short period of time, I’ve come to like the people of Shreveport in a different way. It feels like home for me, and eventually it’ll be home because I have some work to do.”

He also expressed his excitement about the venue’s potential, stating, “I’m excited about building those things and I want to say openly, I promise you, I’ll over deliver with Shreveport.”

50 Cent’s continued expansion into new business ventures, including his action-packed Roku channel and the sports and entertainment venue, showcases his ability to diversify his portfolio and make his mark in industries beyond music and television. His success continues to inspire and prove that his business acumen is just as sharp as his musical talent.
