Wu-Tang Clan Unveils Cinematic Trailer for Final Group Tour

Wu-Tang Clan is gearing up for the first leg of its farewell tour with a dramatic new trailer narrated by legendary sportscaster Ernie Johnson Jr. The hip-hop icons, known for their legendary status in rap, are calling this tour Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber, marking what is expected to be their last collective run on the road.
The trailer, released on February 27, features a Wu-Tang-branded truck rolling through the streets of New York City en route to an arena, presumably Madison Square Garden. Over intense visuals, Johnson delivers a powerful introduction:
“From the slums of Shaolin to the world stage, they have conquered, endured, and remained untouchable. The RZA, the GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon the Chef, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Masta Killa, Cappadonna, Method Man: The Wu-Tang Clan.”
He continues: “The Final Chamber is upon us. The beats will hit harder, the rhymes will cut deeper, and the message will be louder than ever: Wu-Tang is forever.”
Shortly after, RZA and Method Man appear on screen to hype up the tour and give a shoutout to Run the Jewels, who will be opening for the group.
The first leg of the Final Chamber tour kicks off on June 6 and spans 27 dates, with more to potentially be announced.
RZA Reflects on the Final Tour
RZA shared his thoughts on the importance of this last run, stating:
“Wu-Tang Clan has shown the world many chambers throughout our career; this tour is called ‘The Final Chamber.’ This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture. Most importantly, to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years.”
He also revealed that the tour will feature never-before-performed songs and a unique stage production designed to elevate the Wu-Tang experience.
“On this tour, we’re playing songs we’ve never played before to our audience, and me and our production team have designed a Wu-Tang show unlike anything you’ve ever seen. And to top it off, we’ve got the amazing Run the Jewels on our side.”
New Wu-Tang Album on the Way
In addition to the tour, the legendary group recently announced a new album, their first in nearly a decade. Titled Black Samson, The Bastard Swordsman: From the Wu-Tang, the Saga Continues Collection, the project is set for release on Record Store Day (April 12).
The 12-track album is produced entirely by Mathematics, who previously helmed 2017’s The Saga Continues. Notably, RZA won’t be behind the boards for this project, but all living members of Wu-Tang Clan are set to contribute.
With a final tour and a new album on the horizon, Wu-Tang Clan continues to prove that their impact on hip-hop remains timeless. As the group prepares to take their legendary catalog on the road one last time, fans will have the chance to witness history in the making.
