Tyler, The Creator & Sexyy Red Reunite for “Sticky” Performance and Backstage Fun

Tyler, The Creator and Sexyy Red gave fans an unforgettable moment this week when they reunited onstage to perform their hit collab “Sticky” during Tyler’s CHROMAKOPIA Tour. Their chemistry didn’t stop at the performance, though, as the two kept the energy going backstage with a hilarious foot race and a recreation of their viral photo from 2023.

A High-Energy Reunion

On Monday night (March 24), Sexyy Red joined Tyler onstage to perform Sticky, a fan-favorite track that has been lighting up his tour. Their playful dynamic was on full display both during and after the show, proving why their collaboration has been such a success.

After the performance, the fun continued as the duo decided to settle things the old-fashioned way—with a foot race. Sexyy ditched her shoes and went barefoot to battle it out against Tyler, making for an intense and entertaining showdown. “Tell me who won yal 🤣🤣,” she tweeted alongside a clip of the race, leaving fans to debate the winner.

Not stopping there, Tyler and Sexyy also recreated their infamous viral photo where they poked their butts out and flipped the middle finger. The original picture, taken in 2023 when they linked up at a Drake concert in Los Angeles, became an instant internet classic. Sexyy had previously shared the moment on social media, captioning it, “My dreams came tru,” after meeting Tyler and sharing an excited hug. Their decision to recreate it two years later only added to their growing list of hilarious and wholesome interactions.

Tyler Shuts Down Cherry Bomb Requests

While the CHROMAKOPIA Tour has been a celebration of Tyler’s extensive catalog, there’s one album he refuses to revisit onstage—Cherry Bomb. Despite some fans chanting for songs from the 2015 project, Tyler made it clear that he has no plans to perform them.

In response to a fan on X who admitted to starting a Cherry Bomb chant at one of his shows, Tyler bluntly stated: “Chant all you want (I hope you don’t, it’s mad annoying during the show) I’m not gonna play it, chanting doesn’t make me magically wanna play it.”

He further addressed the chants in a video taken at his concert, expressing frustration over the repeated requests. “I genuinely don’t know the logic of why you think that chanting that is going to sway my decision. I don’t want to play that! And most of the crowd doesn’t want me to,” he said.

Despite the Cherry Bomb debate, Tyler reassured fans that his CHROMAKOPIA Tour has been an incredible experience, writing on X that the tour has been “wonderful so far” and thanking attendees for their support.

Between unforgettable performances, viral moments with Sexyy Red, and his signature no-nonsense attitude, Tyler, The Creator continues to make his tour one of the most talked-about events in music this year. Fans can only hope that more antics—and possibly another hilarious rematch—are in store as the tour continues.
