Tina Knowles Seemingly Responds to Kanye West’s Offensive Comments About Her Grandchildren

Kanye West, now known as Ye, has once again stirred controversy with a series of offensive social media posts. This time, he targeted Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 7-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, making derogatory remarks about their cognitive abilities. His now-deleted tweet immediately sparked backlash from fans and the public.

In response, Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, seemingly addressed the situation in a subtle yet powerful way. She shared an Instagram video telling a joke: “What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum? He has a meltdown.” In her caption, she added: “It’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil, but I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper.”

Ye’s latest social media rant didn’t stop there. He also made bizarre claims about Jay-Z, alleging that the rap mogul wanted him dead. Additionally, he brought up past grievances, including Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s absence from his 2014 wedding to Kim Kardashian and his exclusion from the Super Bowl halftime show.

The fallout from these comments comes as Ye promotes his new album, Bully, which debuted as a short film featuring his son, Saint West. The visual album, depicting Saint in a wrestling ring fighting off attackers, is not available on streaming platforms, a reflection of Ye’s ongoing dissatisfaction with the music industry.

The relationship between Ye and Jay-Z has been strained for years. Once close collaborators, their friendship began to fracture due to personal and professional disputes. While their 2011 joint album Watch the Throne remains a landmark moment in hip-hop, their bond has deteriorated significantly in recent years.

Neither Beyoncé nor Jay-Z has publicly responded to Ye’s latest tirade, but the situation further highlights the growing divide between the former friends.
