Offset Challenges Lil Tjay to a Fight Amid Gambling Debt Allegations
Offset has fired back at Lil Tjay after the Bronx rapper continued to taunt him over alleged financial struggles, escalating their feud by challenging him to a fight.
Earlier this week, Tjay reignited claims that the former Migos member was “broke” and drowning in gambling debt. Offset wasted no time in responding, taking to the comments of Tjay’s Instagram post on Tuesday (March 11) with a direct challenge.
“Let’s hit on live, I’ll fly to you this ain’t gon stop the ‘you fell off’ allegations,” Offset wrote. “Meet me in New York. And give me a one on live.”
Tjay has yet to respond to the invitation, but his jabs at Offset date back to January, when he first accused the “Clout” rapper of being down bad at a casino. During a Twitch livestream, Tjay alleged that Offset was panicking after a losing streak and even resorted to asking random people for Cash App transfers.
“Why I diss Offset? Offset is broke,” Tjay claimed. “I’ll tell y’all a true story: I seen the n***a in the casino. He was popped, he was panicking. He was asking random people for Cash Apps. He was broke.”
He further alleged that he loaned Offset $5,000 but never got reimbursed. “I see like 13 bands in loans. I don’t know who got paid back that day. This n***a ducked me for so long, boy. Mind you, I’m 23 and this is ‘raindrop, drop-top,’ Cardi B’s husband.”
Their dispute seemingly escalated when leaked Instagram DMs showed Tjay threatening Offset over the alleged unpaid debt.
“Wyaaaaaaaa ngl ima smack the whole shit out you,” Tjay reportedly messaged Offset.
Offset quickly fired back: “Lol huh u joking right? Just seen this pop up. U gotta be the wrong n***a u texting boy I’ll smoke you.”
Most recently, Tjay continued to mock Offset on social media, writing: “I could never be broke like Set running off making smoke over lunch money… ima have ta smoke on a hunnit streams for it get to all that.”
This feud marks another chapter in Offset’s recent disputes. In late 2024, he was involved in a public altercation with a French rapper’s entourage over an alleged $150,000 dispute. Whether Offset and Tjay’s beef will result in an actual fight remains to be seen, but fans are keeping a close eye on their next moves.
