Kenneth Petty Accused of Hiding Income in Ongoing Legal Battle

Kenneth Petty, the husband of rap superstar Nicki Minaj, is facing new allegations of concealing his income amid claims that he serves as Minaj’s unofficial manager. His alleged rape victim, Jennifer Hough, has made the accusation as part of her ongoing lawsuit against Petty, demanding that he produce seven years’ worth of financial and employment records.

Allegations of Concealed Finances

Hough’s attorney, Tyrone A. Blackburn, asserts that Petty has been withholding essential financial documents, including tax records, bank statements, and employment agreements. Blackburn, in a statement reported by AllHipHop, said: “Mr. Petty’s deposition testimony was riddled with contradictions. [Petty’s] claimed compensation was inconsistent with his known lifestyle, which includes extensive travel on Nicki Minaj’s worldwide tours.”

Blackburn further pointed out discrepancies in Petty’s statements, noting that while he has claimed uncertainty about his income and employment details, public records show that he has actively accompanied Minaj on multiple concert tours from 2018 to 2024. According to Blackburn, high-profile artists typically pay their security and management teams six-figure salaries, contradicting Petty’s claims of financial uncertainty. The attorney is now urging the court to impose sanctions on Petty if he fails to provide the requested financial records.

Jennifer Hough’s Legal Battle

Jennifer Hough has pursued legal action against Petty, seeking punitive damages. She previously accused him of raping her when they were both 16 years old. In 2021, she filed a lawsuit alleging that Petty harassed and intimidated her in an attempt to coerce her into recanting her claims. While Nicki Minaj was initially included in the lawsuit, the case against her was later dropped.

Kenneth Petty and Nicki Minaj’s Relationship

Petty and Minaj originally met in high school but reconnected in 2018. They married the following year and welcomed their first child, known publicly as “Papa Bear,” in 2020. Recently, the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary.

As the lawsuit progresses, the court will determine whether Petty must comply with the financial disclosure requests. Meanwhile, the allegations continue to cast a shadow over his high-profile relationship with Minaj.
