Is Lil Uzi Vert Gearing Up for a Comeback in 2025?

Most unbiased fans would agree that Lil Uzi Vert isn’t in the same form they once were. Their prime years—widely considered to be between 2015 and 2017—were an era of dominance, packed with hit after hit and some of the decade’s most beloved projects. Even in 2020, Eternal Atake was a massive moment, despite some fans noticing a dip in quality.

Uzi’s more experimental Pink Tape also went No. 1, but outside of “Just Wanna Rock,” the project didn’t seem to have the lasting impact of their earlier work. And then there’s Eternal Atake 2, which, while commercially successful (debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200), left even die-hard fans disappointed.

So, in 2025, there hasn’t been much excitement surrounding Lil Uzi Vert’s music—or has there? That question is now up in the air after the rapper posted, then deleted, two freestyles from their YouTube channel late last night.

Lil Uzi Vert Teases New Music with Two Unexpected Freestyles

The two tracks, titled “HELL RAISER” and “DOUBLE SEE,” aren’t entirely original. Instead, Uzi remixed songs from underground artists Babyxsosa and SlimeGetEm.

The first freestyle was over “Chanel”, a late 2024 record from Babyxsosa that has been gaining traction, with over 900,000 streams since November. The second track saw Uzi putting their spin on “HellRaiser” by SlimeGetEm—only changing the title’s stylization while keeping the essence of the original intact.

The production on both tracks is notably different from the beats Uzi usually selects, but fans have been loving the freestyles. Despite their deletion from Uzi’s channel, they’ve been reuploaded by secondary accounts, allowing their most dedicated supporters to keep them in circulation.

A New Project on the Way?

The big question now: Do these freestyles hint at something bigger? According to Genius, they do. Reports suggest that Uzi is currently working on a new project entirely composed of remixes and freestyles, rumored to be titled All White. The expected release date? Sometime this month.

If true, this could mark an intriguing shift in Uzi’s approach, potentially reinvigorating their music career in a way that fans have been longing for. While their last few projects may not have lived up to the highs of their prime, All White could offer a fresh start—one that sees Uzi embracing a looser, more experimental style.

Will All White recapture the magic of Uzi’s golden era? Only time will tell. But for now, fans are watching closely, hoping that 2025 might just be the year Lil Uzi Vert reminds the world why they were once one of rap’s most exciting forces.
