Hip Hop legends Nas and Jadakiss might be known for their lyrical prowess and streetwise bars, but even rap royalty knows how to let loose every once in a while. The duo recently had the internet buzzing after videos surfaced of them enjoying a private karaoke session, proving that even the most respected MCs aren’t above belting out a classic tune.
A Night of Hip Hop and Karaoke
Last month, Nas and Jadakiss attended an event organized by Fanmire, an interactive fan engagement platform, where they stepped out of their usual rap persona and into the world of karaoke. The two icons, known for their intricate wordplay and razor-sharp delivery, swapped bars for melodies as they humorously sang along to Frank Sinatra’s timeless classic “My Way.”
This week, clips from their karaoke session started making waves on social media, with fans reacting to the rare sight of the two rappers flexing their vocal chops in a lighthearted setting.

The viral videos, shared by the X (formerly Twitter) account @nasinfo_, show the pair fully embracing the karaoke spirit. While neither is likely to win a singing contest anytime soon, their confidence and camaraderie made for an entertaining spectacle that fans couldn’t get enough of.
“Nas and Jadakiss doing karaoke is something you got to experience at least once,” the caption read, as thousands of fans shared and commented on the post.
A Mutual Respect in Hip Hop
Beyond the fun and games, Nas and Jadakiss have long shared mutual respect for each other’s craft. Back in 2022, Jada sat down with Uproxx and listed Nas as one of his top five favorite voices in Hip Hop.
“Nas, with the nasal. That’s voices! So don’t get mad at me,” Jada said at the time, recognizing the Queensbridge legend’s distinctive delivery alongside the likes of Biggie, Method Man, Guru, and Tone-Loc.
Jadakiss has never been shy about asserting his own position in Hip Hop, either. In 2015, he dropped his fourth studio album, Top 5 Dead or Alive, a project that reflected his belief in his standing among rap’s elite.
“For one, just for your name to be in the discussion is a pleasure,” Jada said in an interview at the time. “Because it’s a million rappers, a billion. And more than 98.2 percent of them would never be in the discussion.”
Hip Hop Icons Having Fun
The karaoke moment showcased a different side of Nas and Jadakiss—one that fans rarely get to see. While they’ve built their careers on their tough, street-savvy lyricism, their ability to let their guard down and enjoy the moment resonated with many.
Whether it’s trading bars on wax or sharing laughs over a classic karaoke song, Nas and Jadakiss continue to prove why they are not only Hip Hop legends but also cultural icons who know how to have a good time.
