Kanye West Thanks Tyler, The Creator for Support Amid Controversial Statements

Kanye West has publicly expressed gratitude toward Tyler, The Creator for standing by him despite his recent inflammatory remarks about Nazism, Hitler, and violence against women. The Chicago rapper took to Instagram to acknowledge Tyler’s continued support, highlighting their bond as fellow artists.

West’s post stemmed from a screenshot showing Tyler liking his message celebrating A$AP Rocky’s acquittal in his shooting trial. Alongside the image, Ye wrote:

“My daughter’s second favorite artist still loves me. As rappers, we all like one big family. And I’m that n-gga that still shows out even when there’s white people around.”

His comment appeared to recognize Tyler’s unwavering support while also referencing his polarizing reputation in public spaces.

Ongoing Fallout from Kanye’s Controversial Comments

Despite Tyler’s support, Kanye West has once again alienated close collaborators, including Travis Scott and Ty Dolla $ign, following a series of incendiary social media posts.

On February 6, West launched into a tirade on X (formerly Twitter), starting with a call for Diddy to be freed from jail. However, his posts quickly spiraled into antisemitic rhetoric.

Among his remarks, he defiantly refused to apologize for previous statements about the Jewish community, referencing his lost partnership with Adidas:

“IM NEVER APOLOGIZING FOR MY JEWISH COMMENTS. I CAN SAY WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANNA SAY FOREVER. WHERES MY FUCKING APOLOGY FOR FREEZING MY ACCOUNTS. SUCK MY DICK. HOWS THAT FOR AN APOLOGY.”

He followed up with more inflammatory accusations, claiming Jewish individuals were behind policies that promote abortion in Black and Latino communities.

“BE CLEAR YOU JEWISH N-GGAS DONT RUN ME NO MORE. THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY AND THIS IS MY FREE OPINION. YOU ABORT BLACK CHILDREN FOR STEM CELLS. ABORTION IS MURDER AND ITS PUSHED ONTO THE BLACK AND LATINO COMMUNITIES.”

While many have attributed West’s outbursts to his well-documented struggles with mental health, the rapper dismissed any suggestion that he was experiencing a manic episode.

“AINT NOBODY RAMPED UP EITHER. IM CALM AS ICE,” he insisted. “THIS HOW I REALLY FEEL, HOW I REALLY FELT AND HOW I WILL ALWAYS FEEL. FUCK ALL OF YOUR FUCK ASS UNFAIR BUSINESS DEALS. [ANY] JEWISH PERSON THAT DOES BUSINESS WITH ME NEEDS TO KNOW I DONT LIKE OR TRUST ANY JEWISH PERSON. [AND] THIS IS COMPLETELY SOBER WITH NO HENNESY [sic].”

Industry and Public Reaction

Kanye’s latest statements have continued to draw backlash, further isolating him from much of the entertainment industry. While Tyler, The Creator’s support remains intact, it’s unclear how many others will continue to stand by Ye as he doubles down on his controversial views.

With past remarks leading to the loss of brand deals, social media bans, and public condemnation, the fallout from his latest comments could further deepen his exile from mainstream platforms.
