Jeezy Sues Former Managers Over Alleged Financial Mismanagement

Jeezy has taken legal action against his former managers, Solomon Fornie and Eddie Bridgeman, claiming they profited off his hard work while keeping him in the dark about his own finances.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the rapper—who worked with Fornie and Bridgeman for over a decade—grew frustrated with their handling of his money and attempted to sever ties with them last year. However, he alleges that they have blocked him from accessing his financial records, preventing him from winding down Agency 99, a company he co-founded with Fornie to oversee his business affairs.
Lawsuit Seeks Financial Records and Damages
Jeezy is now suing the duo to obtain full transparency into his financial records, as well as damages for their alleged mismanagement. The rapper also claims he was blindsided by the discovery that Bridgeman was not a licensed accountant, despite having been brought on board by Fornie to help oversee his finances.
Neither Jeezy nor his former managers have publicly commented on the lawsuit.
Jeezy’s Ongoing Legal Battles
This lawsuit is just one of several legal disputes Jeezy has been embroiled in recently. His high-profile divorce from television personality Jeannie Mai has also led to courtroom drama.
In December, Mai accused Jeezy of violating a court order by preventing her from retrieving her belongings from their former home. According to In Touch, when she arrived at the property, Jeezy’s house manager refused to let her in, despite a judge ruling that she had 21 days to collect her items.
Jeezy had previously requested the court to modify the order, stating he did not feel safe with Mai being able to freely enter the house. His attorney expressed concerns over the possibility of Mai planting listening devices or cameras.
When Mai was denied entry, she reportedly called the Atlanta Police Department, who informed Jeezy’s house manager that blocking her access was a violation of the court order. The situation escalated, with Mai’s legal team alleging that new barriers were created to further prevent her from collecting her belongings.
What’s Next for Jeezy?
While Jeezy is focused on resolving these legal matters, he continues to remain active in his career. Whether his lawsuit against his former managers will uncover deeper financial issues remains to be seen, but the rapper is clearly determined to gain full control of his business affairs.
