Doja Cat, Queen Latifah, Cynthia Erivo, and Ariana Grande to Perform at the 2025 Oscars

The 2025 Academy Awards are shaping up to be a star-studded event, with a lineup of powerhouse performers set to take the stage. Among the confirmed artists are Doja Cat, Queen Latifah, and Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.

A press release on Wednesday (February 26) also revealed that LISA of BLACKPINK and British singer-songwriter RAYE will be performing, alongside a special appearance by the Los Angeles Master Chorale. More talent is expected to be announced in the coming days. The Oscars, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will air live on Sunday, March 2, at 7 p.m. ET on ABC and Hulu.

Doja Cat’s Performance Could Mark the Start of a New Era

Doja Cat’s highly anticipated Oscars performance may coincide with the rollout of her next album. The rapper-singer recently revealed on X (formerly Twitter) that her upcoming project is titled Vie and is “coming soon.”

Back in October, she teased some of the album’s tracks at an exclusive Airbnb fan event, which attendees described as a blend of pop and R&B. The album will serve as the follow-up to 2023’s Scarlet, which featured chart-topping hits like “Paint The Town Red” and “Agora Hills.” A deluxe version, Scarlet 2 CLAUDE, arrived in April 2024.

Queen Latifah’s Recent Honor

Beyond her Oscars performance, Queen Latifah has been making headlines for receiving one of the most prestigious awards in the arts. She and fellow hip-hop legend Missy Elliott were recently honored with the National Medal of Arts by President Joe Biden.

The ceremony took place at the White House in October, where the rap pioneers were recognized alongside influential figures such as Spike Lee, Steven Spielberg, and Eva Longoria. The National Medal of Arts is the highest award given to artists and arts patrons by the U.S. government, acknowledging significant contributions to the arts.

Missy Elliott took to X to express her gratitude, sharing emotional posts and photos from the event. “I am HUMBLY GRATEFUL! Crying Tears of JOY! Thinking of the days I wasn’t so strong but through FAITH & PRAYER I kept going… I’m SO THANKFUL,” she wrote. She also gave a special shoutout to Queen Latifah, thanking her for paving the way for future generations of artists.

A Night of Unforgettable Performances

With a diverse lineup of performers spanning hip-hop, R&B, pop, and classical music, the 2025 Oscars promise to be a spectacular night of entertainment. As excitement builds, fans eagerly await what surprises the show may have in store.
