Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour Announced After Historic Grammy Wins
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter project, released in March 2025, has been nothing short of controversial. The album, which seamlessly blends her signature sound with elements of country music, raised eyebrows within both the music industry and certain fan groups. Some country music critics were notably dismissive, with the Country Music Awards snubbing her work despite its clear ties to the genre. Critics pointed out that Beyoncé’s foray into country music felt like an uninvited intrusion into a space she’s never occupied before, sparking accusations of racism and cultural appropriation.
Yet, despite the backlash, Beyoncé remained unshaken. Her resilience paid off in the best possible way at the 2025 GRAMMYs, where she earned three prestigious awards for Cowboy Carter, including Album of the Year, Best Country Album, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Her triumphs at the Grammys underscored the album’s critical and commercial success, solidifying her place as one of the most versatile artists of her generation.
Riding the wave of her Grammy wins, Beyoncé is now gearing up for an ambitious tour to bring Cowboy Carter to the masses. The Cowboy Carter And The Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour will kick off at the end of April 2025 at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, followed by stops in key U.S. cities, the U.K., and France. With only nine unique cities on the itinerary, Beyoncé is giving fans in select locations multiple opportunities to catch her performance, with at least two or more dates per city.
The tour will feature four dates in Los Angeles, followed by two in Chicago, East Rutherford, NJ, and a stretch in London and Paris. Beyoncé will then return to the U.S. in June, performing in her hometown of Houston, before wrapping up in Washington, D.C., and Atlanta in early July. The tour promises an exciting mix of country-inspired performances, electrifying stage presence, and the incredible artistry fans have come to expect from the global superstar.
For fans eager to get tickets, there are three distinct presale and general sale periods. The BeyHive presale will be available from February 11-12, followed by an artist presale on February 13. The general sale will open on February 14 at 12 p.m. local time, offering fans the chance to secure their spot at what is set to be one of the most talked-about tours of the year.
