Pusha T Signals New Era with Social Media Move, Fueling Speculation About Long-Awaited Clipse Album

Pusha T has fans buzzing with speculation that the Clipse’s long-awaited new album might finally be on the horizon. The rapper’s recent move to wipe his Instagram clean has sparked excitement, as artists typically do this ahead of a major project rollout.

Last month, Pusha T confirmed that the duo’s first album in over 15 years is finished, marking a highly anticipated return for Clipse. The project, tentatively titled Let God Sort Em Out, has been described by Pusha as a testament to the growth of street hip hop, showcasing the maturity of the genre over the years.

In December, during a conversation with broadcaster Ari Melber at Miami Art Week, Pusha expressed his excitement about the album’s completion. “I promise you, it’s done. It’s in my phone,” he said, reassuring fans that the project was ready to be unveiled. Pusha also shared more details, explaining that the album is entirely produced by Pharrell Williams, who has been a key collaborator for Clipse since their early days.

“This is a chemistry, this is a brotherhood. And when I say that, I mean Pharrell as well,” Pusha said. “He produced it from top to bottom.” The meticulous care given to the album reflects the duo’s dedication to their craft. According to Pusha, Let God Sort Em Out represents a high level of taste and authenticity, with every track curated to perfection.

The duo has signed with Def Jam for the release, marking a new chapter in their career. While Pusha T is already signed to Def Jam as a solo artist, the decision to partner with the label for the Clipse project is a significant one, signaling a fresh direction for the duo. The announcement was made in October by Malice, who shared an image of himself at Def Jam’s offices with the caption: “A picture’s worth…”

Though little is known about the album’s guest features, Pusha has hinted that big names like Nas and John Legend will appear on the project. In a recent interview with Vulture, both Pusha and Malice spoke about the evolution of the Clipse sound. Malice emphasized the importance of authenticity in their music, saying, “It’s bringing the fans along to see the growth, not trying to fit in or fabricate.”

With Let God Sort Em Out poised to drop, it’s clear that Clipse is back with a vengeance, ready to prove that even after 15 years, their impact on hip-hop is as strong as ever. Fans can only wait in anticipation for the official release and the next move in Pusha T and Malice’s storied career.
