Ken Carson Battles Hackers Over Leaked Music

Ken Carson has had enough of hackers leaking his unreleased music. The Atlanta rapper, who has been plagued by unauthorized releases for years, reached his breaking point on Thursday when he decided to expose a blackmailer attempting to extort him for exclusive access to his songs.

Taking to Instagram, Carson shared a direct message exchange with an unnamed hacker. The individual was not only demanding early access to his music but also threatening further consequences if the rapper didn’t comply.

The Hacker’s Demands

The hacker’s messages laid out a manipulative plan: “I just want music for my ears. Let’s get this over with, Ken. Everything will be returned, and songs will be safe.” In exchange for not leaking Carson’s music, the hacker demanded the rapper send them unreleased tracks.

When Carson didn’t respond promptly, the hacker escalated their threats. “I don’t want to have to do anything else,” they warned. “You don’t want to have to deal with anything else. Let’s get this over with.”

Ken Carson’s Response

Instead of giving in, Ken Carson responded with humor and defiance. “I ain’t reading all that lil bra,” he replied bluntly. “You gonna be hacking everybody for no reason.”

Carson went on to downplay the hacker’s threats, saying, “All my sh*t already hacked. I don’t see you taking a W here.” By exposing the blackmail attempt on Instagram, Carson effectively rendered the hacker’s plan useless and sent a message to others attempting similar schemes.

A History of Frustration

This isn’t the first time Carson has spoken out about the challenges of leaks and hackers. In a 2023 interview with Complex, he vented about the impact unauthorized leaks have on artists. “Fck a leak, fck a hacker,” he said. “You’re really delaying somebody’s album. Once a leaker or hacker gets your song, it’s not even your song anymore.”

Carson also stressed how demoralizing it can be for artists to see their hard work shared without consent. “It takes away the excitement and the element of surprise for the fans,” he added.

Moving Forward

Despite his ongoing battle with leaks, Carson remains focused on his music. He recently dropped the single “Delusional,” which has been well-received by fans. As he continues to navigate the challenges of the digital age, Carson’s resilience and wit set an example for other artists facing similar issues.

While leaks remain a persistent problem in the music industry, Ken Carson’s refusal to bow to hackers serves as a reminder of the power of transparency and standing one’s ground.
