Trae Tha Truth, the Houston rapper and community activist, has turned to music as a means of expressing his pain and continuing his search for his missing daughter, Truth. On Friday, February 13, he released a deeply emotional track titled “Letter to Truth Pt. 2”, which addresses the ongoing struggle to reunite with his daughter, who has been missing for several months.

He explained that in August, after being granted full custody of his 6-year-old daughter Truth, he dropped her off for visitation with her mother. She was supposed to be returned two days later, but never was. Since then, he claims her mother has moved to various cities and has been hiding Truth, filing false police reports and spreading lies about Trae in an effort to alienate him from his daughter.

Trae has been fighting a legal battle to get Truth back. He revealed that a judge in Los Angeles ordered the child to be returned to him after Trae proved that the accusations made by his daughter’s mother were false. Despite the legal ruling, his daughter was not returned, and the situation escalated to the point where a Child Abduction charge was filed. Trae also learned from a private investigator that Truth, her mother, and grandmother have been constantly moving between different homes to avoid being found.
