Bryson Tiller Announces New Double Album, The Vices Set to Drop August 8

Bryson Tiller isn’t slowing down. Just over a year after releasing his self-titled album, the Louisville native is already gearing up for his next big move — and this time, he’s doubling down. The T R A P S O U L hitmaker has confirmed the upcoming release of a double album, and the first installment, The Vices, is officially arriving on August 8.
The announcement follows a teaser Tiller dropped earlier this year, revealing plans for two distinct projects that reflect both sides of his artistic identity. The double album will be split into Solace and The Vices, each offering a different sonic and emotional experience. While Solace promises moody introspection and personal vulnerability, The Vices leans into a more energetic, rap-forward vibe that fans of early Tiller will instantly recognize.
In a press release shared by Hip-Hop N More, Tiller describes The Vices as “fun, energetic, bars on bars, summer vibes,” adding that the project taps into his “other” side. Producers confirmed for the release include Charlie Heat, Teddy Walton, Hitmaka, and Gravez—names known for crafting atmospheric, hard-hitting soundscapes.
On Instagram, the 32-year-old artist opened up about the meaning behind the project’s title and his mindset while creating it. “With The Vices, I decided to get rid of my vices completely and prove to myself that I didn’t need weed, alcohol, and all the other shenanigans to have FUN. I’ve been sober ever since,” he wrote. “(Still tryna figure out how to look like I enjoy the club tho lol).”
Tiller also hinted that The Vices will be “very rap heavy,” which has longtime fans excited. During his T R A P S O U L era, Tiller delivered fan favorites like “Rambo,” “502 Come Up,” and “Get Mine” featuring Young Thug—tracks that showcased his sharp delivery and street-influenced style.
While The Vices is set to make a splash this August, Tiller has yet to reveal a release date for Solace. Described as “somber, vulnerable” and inspired by a pivotal season in his life, Solace is expected to be a more introspective counterpart to its high-energy sibling. “It’s my own personal therapy session,” he said, “saying things I wouldn’t normally say out loud.”
With a solid track record, a fresh perspective, and two unique projects on the horizon, Bryson Tiller is proving that he’s more than just a voice behind heartbreak anthems—he’s an evolving artist still pushing his creative boundaries. The countdown to August 8 is officially on.
