T-Pain and Mark Zuckerberg Drop Surprising ‘Get Low’ Remake as Z-Pain

The internet was taken by surprise when T-Pain and Mark Zuckerberg, under the joint moniker “Z-Pain,” released their unexpected collaboration: a remake of Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz’s 2002 crunk classic “Get Low.” This quirky project transformed the high-energy party anthem into a slow, acoustic ballad complete with Zuckerberg’s unlikely vocal performance.

Zuckerberg confirmed the release on Instagram, sharing a heartfelt post with pictures of him and his wife, Priscilla, alongside T-Pain in the studio. He explained the sentimental reason behind the project: “‘Get Low’ was playing when I first met Priscilla at a college party, so every year we listen to it on our dating anniversary. This year I worked with @tpain on our own version of this lyrical masterpiece. Sound on for the track and also available on Spotify. Love you P.”

In the Z-Pain rendition, Zuckerberg can be heard humorously singing the once-raunchy lyrics, turning the track into a whimsical serenade. One standout moment includes Zuckerberg’s earnest delivery of: “Shawty crunk, so fresh, so clean / Can she fuck? That question been harassing me.” The unexpected combination of vocals and acoustic instrumentals had fans both amused and puzzled.

T-Pain, who lent his signature sound to the project, responded in the comments section: “Happy anniversary! Thanks for letting me be a part of this.”

Priscilla’s Reaction

Zuckerberg shared Priscilla’s reaction on his Instagram Stories, showing that she found the gesture endearing. Describing it as “so romantic,” she added, “21 years later, I can’t get quite as low, but it brings back a lot of fun memories.”

T-Pain Defends His Decision

While the release generated significant buzz, not all feedback was positive. T-Pain faced criticism from some fans questioning why he would collaborate with Zuckerberg. In response, the “Buy U A Drank” singer posted a video on Instagram defending his choice and calling out the double standards. “Y’all don’t like it when people have fun. Y’all don’t like it when people do wholesome things, y’all don’t like it when people do stuff for their wives,” he said. He then pointed out the irony in the backlash, noting that when he collaborated with controversial figures in the past, those projects were often celebrated.

“When motherfuckers doing something good with their life, all of a sudden, I need to distance myself. Shut the hell up. It costs zero dollars to go outside and fucking look at birds. It costs zero dollars to go do that shit,” T-Pain added, wrapping up his statement with a dose of humor.

The Z-Pain rendition of “Get Low” has since become a viral talking point, drawing a mix of admiration and curiosity over its sentimental backstory and unexpected pairing.
