Offset Involved in Brawl with French Rapper Gazo Over Alleged Financial Dispute

On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, Offset, the former Migos rapper, found himself at the center of a chaotic altercation in Paris with French rapper Gazo and his entourage. The confrontation, which reportedly stemmed from a financial dispute, quickly escalated into a violent brawl outside the Hôtel du Collectionneur.

According to TMZ, the incident occurred after Gazo’s team allegedly paid Offset $150,000 for a feature and music video appearance, but Offset’s performance did not meet their expectations. Gazo and his crew demanded a refund, which Offset reportedly refused, leading to the heated confrontation. As footage of the altercation shows, a large group of men surrounded Offset outside the hotel, and things quickly spiraled out of control.

Security personnel had to intervene as Offset, clearly agitated, shouted, “I’ll fire your ass up,” before a full-blown fight broke out. During the scuffle, one of Gazo’s entourage members kicked a member of Offset’s crew in the head, while Offset himself broke free and kicked one of the French men before being restrained and pushed back into the hotel by his security detail.

As tensions grew, Gazo’s crew attempted to force their way into the five-star hotel. In the chaos, a woman from their team fell during the struggle, suffering a nasty fall on the street. The police arrived shortly after, but no arrests were made.

Despite the altercation, Offset later appeared to reconcile with Gazo, as the French rapper posted a photo of the two together on Instagram, suggesting that they had smoothed over their differences ahead of their upcoming collaboration, “Wemby.”

This incident comes amid a challenging period for Offset, who has faced personal struggles, including his ongoing separation from Cardi B. In a recent online tirade, Cardi B expressed her deep frustrations with Offset, even going so far as to wish harm on him before later walking back her comments.

As for the brawl, it remains unclear whether legal action will follow. However, the drama in Paris serves as another chapter in Offset’s turbulent public life.
