Tyler, The Creator Expands Chromakopia Tour Due to Overwhelming Demand
Tyler, The Creator is responding to high demand for his Chromakopia tour by adding 13 new dates, creating more chances for fans to experience his latest album live. The tour will now feature additional shows in multiple cities, with notable expansions in Los Angeles, where three new nights have been added, totaling six performances in his hometown. Seattle, San Diego, Austin, Paris, Chicago, Philly, Boston, New York City, and Toronto will each see a second show, while Australia gets extra dates with a third night in both Melbourne and Sydney, plus a second night in Brisbane.
Fans can access presale tickets for the North American leg immediately, with sales for Paris starting on October 31, and for Australia on November 1.
Tyler isn’t taking this journey alone, as he’s bringing along special guests Lil Yachty and Paris Texas for the ride. This support lineup is expected to add a unique blend of energy to the shows, amplifying the immersive, art-heavy atmosphere Tyler is known for.
Meanwhile, Chromakopia is projected to make a historic debut on the Billboard 200. Released on a Monday rather than the standard Friday, the album is nevertheless expected to open at number one, with early projections suggesting it will earn between 250,000 and 300,000 equivalent units in its first week. This would mark the highest first-week sales of Tyler’s career, surpassing his previous records with Call Me If You Get Lost (169,000 units) and IGOR (165,000 units).
Should Chromakopia reach its high estimate, it would be one of the top rap debuts of 2024, second only to Travis Scott’s Days Before Rodeo rerelease. The album’s expected chart-topping success could also mark a milestone as the first time this year that one rap album succeeds another at the top of the Billboard 200, following Yeat’s Lifestyle.
Tyler’s Chromakopia tour, with its vibrant setlist and dynamic supporting acts, promises to be one of the year’s biggest concert draws, catering to an ever-growing fan base eager to experience his evolving artistry live.
