Kanye West Officially Responds To Kim Kardashian’s Divorce Petition

Kanye West Officially Responds To Kim Kardashian’s Divorce Petition! Kanye West has reportedly responded to Kim Kardashian‘s divorce petition. The couple who share children North-aged 7, Saint aged 5, Chicago aged 3, and Psalm, 23 months, together decided earlier this year to go their separate ways. Following Kim Kardashian’s divorce petition from the rapper, Kanye has now filed his own response to her submission.

West is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their children, and they both agree that there is no need for either of them to pay spousal support. According to TMZ, both Kanye and Kim have agreed to pay their own legal fees.

Kanye West cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason behind their divorce. He also requested that their separate and shared property be determined ‘according to proof at the time of trial or settlement.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner previously emphasized how she and her family have rallied around Kim to offer “support” in the wake of her divorce, and so the family’s main focus is to ensure the couple’s children are happy.

Jenner said in a statement: “I think it’s always going to be hard anytime … you know, there’s a lot of kids. The good thing about our family is that we are there for each other and supportive and we love each other very, very much so all I want is for those two kids to be happy. And I want the kids to be happy. That’s the goal. I think we all want that for our families, just to be able to have the love and appreciation of one another, and that everyone’s okay. That’s what you want as a mom.”

The news comes amid reports that the SKIMS founder is slated to sit down with Oprah Winfrey to open up on her split.
