Drake Fans Excited As He Links With UK’s Finest! While fans are still waiting anxiously for the release of the highly anticipated Certified Lover Boy, Drake continues to create more hype. After posing with Chris Brown earlier in the month, the Toronto rapper linked up with Dreamville rapper J.I.D this past weekend.
As to what Drake and the Atlanta native are up to, nobody knows exactly but many are hoping some sort of collaboration is in the offing with Drizzy finishing up CLB and J.I.D readying The Forever Story.
Though the duo are yet to link up on a song before, fans are of the idea something special could be in the works going by a comment from one fan, “Drake is yet to pass this type of lyrical test in a while.. yes please.”
J.I.D meeting Drake is one thing off his Hip Hop bucket list for the Dreamville rhymer. The rapper tweeted back in June 2019, about how he just needed to connect with Drake at this point.
“Woke up and Heard these Drake records and at this point I just wana meet him,” J.I.D wrote.
While it remains unclear if this is the first time the Atlanta native meets Drake, it’s rarely a bad thing to link up with the Toronto rapper. The Forever Story is due out later in the year and there is a high possibility it could arrive before Certified Lover Boy. J.I.D joined forces with Metro Boomin’ earlier this year and a Drake collab can only take things to the next level.
Drake didn’t manage to deliver on his initial promise regarding CLB’s arrival. That the project would be out before April is now out of the question and the project still remains without a release date even as the OVO boss remains tight-lipped about his delayed LP.
