Just last week, cupcakKe reignited things when she shared a tweet stating that there lacks lyrical women emcees. This seemingly enraged hip hop fans as they began giving reasons why that isn’t a true statement. This forced cupcakKe to return to social media and double down on her previous remarks.
Apart from the discussion about who is the best female artist that brings the bars, some people have complained about lack the of enough support and unity with regard to women in the music industry.
In the wake of this conversation, Doja Cat seemed to pay homage to her fellow rappers and R&B singers with a simple tweet. The Hot Pink artist joked that she had plans of changing her name and included a few women that she admires.
Doja Cat hopped on Twitter to give followers a glimpse of her new stage name. In her initial attempt, she started by combining the names of Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, and Katy Perry.

Her final stage name was a combination of the aforementioned and added both Rihanna and SZA.
