Rick Ross Teases New Music Over Isaac Hayes Sample

Rick Ross Teases New Music Over Isaac Hayes Sample! Rapper Rick Ross has consistently been working his fingers to the bone on his forthcoming album Richer Than I’ve Ever Been, the follow-up project to his 2019 album Port Of Miami 2. Richer Than I’ve Ever Been was originally anticipated to drop at some point in 2020; however the big Boss pushed it back ultimately, probably in a bid to finish up on a few final touches.

Apparently, Rick Ross has taken to social media to share a snippet of what’s to come. The rapper took to Instagram to preview a clip that sees him getting busy over what appears to be quite a promising instrumental.

“Top down on the block, throwing up the gang,” he raps, over a piano-driven instrumental while sampling Isaac Hayes’ “Ike’s Mood I.” “Praying for my downfall–” the snippet goes on to cut out, just in time after giving viewers a bit of an idea of what to expect. From every indication of it, this one clearly appears to be quite a reassuring addition to Richer Than I’ve Ever Been. On that note, fans should keep their ears to the ground in anticipation of getting a few more details as far as the project is concerned – most importantly the release date.

Until then, be sure to check out the Rick Ross’ snippet below, and also revisit his recent addition to Drake’s standout “Lemon Pepper” freestyle. Meanwhile,  rumor has it that Rick Ross and Drake actually do have a collab album in the kitchen, though chances are, it may not come to see the light of day anytime soon. That will most probably be after both Richer Than I’ve Ever Been and Certified Lover Boy are here, presumably later on in the year.
